Buccal Fat Removal

Buccal Fat Removal

Buccal fat pad removal, also known as cheek fat removal or buccal lipectomy, is a surgery that removes excess fat pads from the cheeks to create a more contoured facial appearance.

It is generally used to reduce chubby cheeks (“chipmunk cheeks”) that can be due to genetics or weight gain.

If you’re displeased with the roundness of your face and wish you had a more slender contour, buccal fat removal may be a good option.

Buccal fat removal involves removing the buccal fat pads that are stored in the cheeks that cannot be lost with normal diet and exercise.
